The first day of Spring represents new beginnings, an opportunity to rejuvenate the garden, home, and business. Towong Shire Council is offering a range of business seminars during the month of September. Workshops and invaluable information to assist local businesses grow and prosper will be provided. During the past three years Council has offered the "Building Better Business program" in Corryong and Tallangatta however, Council is now extending the opportunity to business owners in Dartmouth, Bethanga and Walwa regions. "I think the project is a good idea and anything that's going to help us, the local businesses of Bethanga, or the peninsula is welcome." said John Tudor of Bethanga Wares. Bethanga Wares is a community focused organisation that promotes local artists and an extended range of gifts not seen anywhere else, but from Bethanga. Bethanga Wares is one of the many participating businesses that are likely to benefit from the Building Better Business program. All businesses large or small, will be encouraged to attend free evening seminars and face to face consultation sessions. "The additional free face to face one hour consultations is an excellent opportunity for individuals to discuss their specific business needs in confidence." said Ed Walta, Business Consultant for Towong Shire's Building Better Business seminars.
